MILL HALL -- The Central Mountain High School Proudly announces the newly formed Music & Arts Hall of Fame. Nominations are now being accepted for outstanding Central Mountain High School graduates in the fields of Music and Arts.
"Many schools honor athletes in this way but I feel it is also important for our community to recognize outstanding Central Mountain High School graduates in the fields of Music and Arts," Jocelyn Renninger, a senior at CMHS said. The Music & Arts Hall of Fame is Jocelyn's Senior Project.
Completed nomination forms must be submitted to: Central Mountain High School, 64 Keystone Central Drive, Mill Hall, PA 17751 Attn: Jocelyn Renninger or Nomination forms can also be dropped off in the Guidance Office.
The deadline for nominations is 5 p.m. on April 3.
The first induction ceremony will be held during the Spring Choir Concert, May 19 Central Mountain High School Auditorium at 7:25 p.m.
The Music & Arts Hall of Fame will be permanently displayed in the Central Mountain High School Auditorium. The choir ensemble along with the constellates and men's group will be performing 11 pieces, all kinds of genres from musicals, languages, pop music, choral standard pieces, and a 9/11 tribute during the ceremony.
