LOCK HAVEN –Chalk artists Jesse LuBera and Erica Anderson as well as a few novice street artists will transform the asphalt parking lot at Full Circle, 146 Fairpoint Road, Mill Hall, into a visual feast on Saturday, Aug. 29 and Sunday, Aug. 30.

Jesse has been participating in chalk festivals around the country since 2016 with Erica joining him in 2017. Jesse, an artist with graphic art experience gained immediate respect at festival competitions. Together they have traveled and brightened streets with extraordinary, breathtaking art.

Both avid and disciplined hikers Jesse and Erica took a hiatus from chalking to pursue the adventure of hiking the Appalachian Trail. On March 25, a misty Georgia morning they began their journey to “live the trail.”

Almost six months later they completed their trek at the White Cap Mountains of Maine.

It did not take long for the couple to get back to chalking. They received an invite to participate in the annual Kennebunkport Chalk Fest which was scheduled for the week they anticipated finishing the trail. Erica and Jesse graced the street of Kennebunkport, Maine with picturesque imagery. Opportunities to participate in some favorite festivals such as Elmira Chalk Fest, Chalk the Block in Somerset, Chalktober Fest in Marietta and others in Baltimore and Florida filled their calendars until COVID-19 put things to a sudden halt.

The couple are longtime friends of the Full Circle community with Erica assisting in managing the facility and events. With a recent expanded and newly paved parking lot, it became a likely venue to host a Mini Chalk Festival.

Bloom Summ and Sue’s Salves will be on site offering their services and products.

Full Circle invites you to stop by and find joy in witnessing the creative process, to celebrate thriving, kindhearted local artists, to show up and be astonished.

COVID-19 guidelines will be adhered to during the event. Anyone who may have questions can contact Michele Terry at (570) 660-1218.
