Boil Water Advisory issued in City of Lock Haven

LOCK HAVEN — The following statement was issued by the City of Lock Haven on New Year’s Eve:

“The Residents of 459, 466, 468, 507, 512, and 520 S Highland Street/ 117, 119, 150, and 200 Peach Street/ and 469 S Fairview Street may be at increased risk for Microbial Contamination. On Thursday, December 31 , 2020, we experienced a loss of positive water pressure due to a line repair.

Residents should not drink the water without boiling it first. Bring all water to a rolling boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using; or use bottled water.

You should use boiled or bottled water for drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth, and food preparation until further notice.

We will inform you when all corrective actions have been completed and when you no longer need to boil your water.
