In support of helping children in need, the Walmart store in Mill Hall is hosting a golf tournament to raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network, benefiting the Janet Weis Children’s Hospital at Geisinger in Danville. Walmart has partnered with Children’s Miracle Network and helped to raise 1 billion to Help Kids Live Better. This year, the local store is kicking off the annual campaign with a golf tournament. Those interested are invited to register for a June 15 outing at Clinton County Country Club Registration starts 8 a.m. and shotgun start at 9. Lunch will be provided by Haywood’s. A basket raffle and silent auction are also planned, with all proceeds going to CMN. The event begins the month-long campaign at Walmart and Sam’s Club locations across the country. Through July 10, donations can be made at all registers. A Car & Bike Show is set for June 26 and a craft show on July 9. For further information please contact April or Pam at 570-893-4627.
