WILLIAMSPORT -- During June, Lycoming County hired 20 full-time and six part-time employees, chipping away at the significant amount of open positions that had existed.
Those full-time hires included the following, along with their department and rate of pay: Taylor Bryson, Shaun Newsome and Zachery Miller, correctional officers at the prison, $18.10 per hour; Tina Jedrziewski,promoted to administrative specialist in commissioners office, $17.33 per hour ; Erika Grimes, Clerk III at the courts' District Magistrate Biichle, $14.44 per hour; Wendy Young, Clerk III in the Assessment office, $14.44 per hour; Katja Frye, custodial worker in management, $13.97 per hour; Kenneth Spencer, custodial worker in management, $12.21 per hour; Mackenzie Williams, domestic relations officer in Domestic Relations Office, $42,836, reclassification; Abby Houseknecht, EMS regional field consultant, Department of Public Service/EMS, $36,533; Stanley Rogers, equipment fueler, $19.58 per hour, Gregory Ulrich, equipment operator, $18 per hour, Bodie Kaufman and Jacinda Bonilla, equipment operators, $15.75 per hour, all at Resource Management Services; Chad Weaver, Maintenance III electrical in management, $23 per hour; Kaitlin Lunger, probation officer in Juvenile Probation Office, $20.10 per hour; Lelis Reynoso, Resident Supervisor I at the Pre-Release Center, $17.18 per hour; Duane Long, work crew foreman at the Pre-Release Center, $21.30; and Reidyn Horn and Madison Minnier, telecommunicator trainees at the Department of Public Service, $17.18 per hour.
Part-time employees hired are: Michele Hazel, Clerk III in Planning and Community Development, $13.42 per hour; Matthew Douglas, Matthew Scouten and Corey Brewer, DUI Center Special Detectives, $18.34 per hour; Monique Wright, driver at the Pre-Release Center, $13.42 per hour; and Lucrecia Skellenger, resident supervisor at the Pre-Release Center, $15.95 per hour.
All personnel were approved by the commissioners at their meeting this week.
In other business, the commissioners approved two agreements, including an annual intergovernmental agreement with the Department of Health and the LTS EMS Council and an amendment to an agreement with Avenu Enterprise Solutions, LLC to extend a contract with the Register and Recorder's Office for one year.
The next commissioners' meeting will be at 10 a.m., July 21 at the Commissioners' Board Room, 1st floor Executive Plaza, 330 Pine St.
