Sleep In Heavenly Peace opens new chapter in Lock Haven

On Saturday, Nov. 5, a new chapter of Sleep In Heavenly Peace celebrated its kickoff with Core Team Build Day. Pictured branding one of SHP Lock Haven’s first beds is Alex Di Costanzo. He is co-owner of SA Piper Logistics, along with Steve Wadsworth. They have generously provided a warehouse and site for beds to be built and delivered, free of charge to local children, who may otherwise be sleeping on the floor. If you are interested in applying for a bed or helping out, with volunteering or donations, you can reach out at shpbeds.org or by calling Laura Orndorf, Chapter President, at 570-660-5494. More information will be going home with all KCSD students in the upcoming weeks as the organization prepares for Pajamas Across America. This event is intended to not only raise necessary funds for building beds, but also to inform families that this benefit is available.
