Leadership class learns about education and youth

MILL HALL -- Leadership Clinton County recently met at Central Mountain High School to hold a session focusing on Clinton County's Education and Youth systems.

Participants started the day with welcoming comments from Superintendent Dr. Jacqueline Martin. They were given a tour of Central Mountain High School and the District's Career & Technology Center by students Kayleigh Bechdal, Hunter Jeirles, Danica Kelly, Alexis Plants, and Bethany Sellers. Participants then had the opportunity to eat lunch catered by the students in the Culinary Arts program. And finally, they participated in two panel discussions relating to the various issues facing our youth and the diverse educational systems in our community. Represented on the panels were Central Mountain High School and Middle School, Mill Hall Elementary School, Clinton County Community Connections, Commonwealth University of PA-Lock Haven, Development Center for Adults and Infant Development.

Leadership Clinton County is a comprehensive leadership development program for adults living and/or working in Clinton County. Organized by the Clinton County Economic Partnership, the Leadership program is now in its 23rd year, with 298 graduates.
