Art exhibit at Piper Museum
The Piper Aviation Museum is opening a new art exhibit with artwork by Richard "Dick" Clark, formerly from Renovo. Mr. Clark was employed by Piper Aircraft and provided drawings of concept aircraft to management that were considered for production. The family of Mr. Clark will be in attendance this Sunday at 1 p.m. to view the exhibit, and the public is invited to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
Introduction to composting
Penn State Master Gardeners will be on campus on Wednesday, April 12, for an evening session addressing the following: benefits of making and using compost, understanding decomposition, identifying browns and greens, materials suitable for compost, materials not suitable for compost, choosing a site and method to contain the compost, water, air and other considerations, troubleshooting and using finished compost. Session will be held in the SVRCS Library at 236 East Main Street, Loganton from 6-8 p.m. This is a FREE event and registration is suggested by calling Dawn at 570-367-1351 or emailing djeffries@svrcs.org
