LOCK HAVEN — With the slogan “Be Some — Bunny’s Hero,” the Clinton County Democratic Committee hosted their 3rd annual Blood Drive on March 29 at the Dunnstown Fire Hall.
According to Rose Reeder, who chaired the event, the drive was even more successful than last year, exceeding the CCDC’s 2022 total by eight units. The Red Cross reported that the blood collected at the event could help up to 75 people.
Reeder said, “A big thanks has to go to the Dunnstown Fire Hall for so willingly providing a perfect spot for a blood drive!”
Kim Coleman, co-vice chair of the CCDC and Woodward Township committeewoman, made arrangements for the fire hall and provided coffee.
Dunkin’ Donuts, Weis Markets, and Wal-Mart in the Lock Haven area provided snacks for those who gave blood. The Red Cross gave T-shirts to all who participated.
Larissa Furl, one of the donors at the event said, “I’m very glad that I could be a part of helping save the lives of those in need.”
