This photo is of the Logan Mills Grist Mill that stood along Fishing Creek in Logan Township. Logan Mills was a small village located between Booneville and Tylersville. Built in 1840 by Col. Anthony Kleckner, the mill was operated by the Ilgen family until it closed in 1952. Farmers brought their grains to be ground at the mill. While in operation, the mill also produced flour for the state prison's system.
