Mike Gates, playing at the Mountain View Country Club on April 5, 2023, recorded his second career hole-in-one. He used an eight-iron on the 195 yard, Par 3, hole # 6.
He was playing with Steve Fultz, Jim Hunter and Bob Mooney.
Cash Bingo Events
Mill Hall Vol. Fire Company offers a Cash Bingo every Friday night beginning at 6:30 p.m. Doors and the kitchen open at 5:30 p.m. The fire station and social room are located at 9 Peale Ave., Mill Hall. MHVFC Bingo dates are May 5 and May 12.
Dunnstown Fire Company offers a Cash Bingo every Monday night at the fire station on 119 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven. Bingo starts at 6 p.m. and all proceeds help to support the fire company's needs. Dunnstown Fire Company Bingo is on May 8 and May 15.
TOPS
TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) is looking for interested participants and guest speakers. Weigh-ins are from 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. each Monday afternoon, followed by the business meeting at 5 p.m. TOPS is held at the Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal St., Mill Hall. Guest speakers are being sought to give a 15-20 minute presentation (or demonstration) on nutrition, forms of exercising or other healthy habits during the meetings.
