St. Mark Lutheran Church at 850 Snydertown Road, Howard, will host free, family-friendly music events this summer outside around its pavilion. Besides music, the evenings feature a fire pit to roast hot dogs, S'mores and more. Those who attend can bring food for themselves and to share. It all makes for a wonderful evening for community time. The Bluegrass group, the Parlor Pickers, will perform. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs for more comfortable sitting. Each evening begins at 6:30 p.m. when the fire pit gets going, and music starts around 7 p.m.
