Civil War
Roundtable
There will be a Civil War Roundtable at Avenue 209 Coffeehouse on Monday, Aug. 21, from 5-7 p.m. The topic of discussion will be religion in or during the Civil War era. All are welcome to attend. Call Mike at 508-823-1585 for more info.
PASR picnic
The Clinton County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees (PASR) invites ALL SCHOOL RETIREES and guests to a picnic on Wednesday, Aug. 30, at noon (come at 11 a.m. to socialize) at the Grove Community Park in Flemington to celebrate The First Day of School. School Retirees should bring a covered dish to share, and their own place settings and beverages. PASR will provide table covers and napkins, hot dogs, buns and condiments. This is a great opportunity to socialize informally outdoors with former colleagues and friends AND to invite newly retired staff to attend. They look forward to seeing you there!
