Blood Drive
St. Luke's United Church of Christ will be hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Tuesday, Aug. 29, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the church. You may register to donate on the Red Cross website at www.redcrossblood.org. Select find a location, enter zip code 17745 and select make an appointment. Scroll to Tuesday, Aug. 29, select St. Luke's and schedule your appointment. Our famous root beer floats will be served.
Suicide
awareness
The Lycoming/Clinton Joinder is hosting a free event in honor of suicide awareness on Wednesday, Sept. 13, at 6:30 p.m. at the Roxy Theater. Come hear Kevin Hines share his story of hope, healing and recovery while he teaches people of all ages the art of wellness and the ability to survive pain with true resilience. No tickets are needed, seating is on a first come first serve basis. The concession stand will be open for drink/snack purchases.
