Clinton County Genealogical Society Meeting
The Clinton County Genealogical Meeting will be on Sept. 12, at 7 p.m., at the Poorman Gallery located on 352 E. Water Street, Lock Haven. The program is, "Basics of using genetic genealogy (and be prepared for some surprises)" by Dr. Joyce Adele Furfaro. There is no cost to attend.
Food Bank

Howard Area Lions Food distribution will be on Sept. 11 (and not on Sept. 4 because of the Labor Day holiday) for Centre County residents living in the Lions servicing area. Food bank aid is given out from noon to 3 p.m. at the former Beech Creek Elementary. Bring a sturdy box with you for food distributions. If you are new to the food bank program you will need to complete paperwork.
