Outdoor rec summer camp

offered at Little Pine

LITTLE PINE — Kids in grades 6-9 are invited to an “Outdoor Rec Summer Camp” taking place at Little Pine State Park.

Join educators from Little Pine State Park and Tiadaghton State Forest for three evenings of outdoor recreation instruction on Aug. 8, 9 and 10 from 4-6 p.m. each night. There will be opportunities to discover a new activity each night, to include archery, fishing and kayaking/canoeing.

Registration is required, and priority will be given to participants that can make it to all three nights. Limited to 10 kids.

All materials will be provided. Signups will last till Aug. 4 at 2 p.m. and a minimum of 5 students will be required to go through with the program.

On Aug. 8 and 10, meet at boat launch. For Aug. 9, meet at the archery range at the northern end of Little Pine State Park.
