DCA class hours
The Development Center for Adults in Clinton County is announcing their school year class hours. The DCA will begin regular hours on Monday, Aug. 28, 2023. Those class times will be Monday/Wednesday evenings from 5 until 7 p.m., Tuesday/Thursday mornings from 9:30 until 11:30 a.m., and Tuesday/Thursday afternoons from 12:30 until 2:30 p.m. The DCA provides free classes and assistance for adults who are studying for the GED, brushing up with basic skills or preparing for higher education. All materials are provided free of charge. We can also provide classes remotely. The DCA is located at 8 N. Grove St., Suite G, in Lock Haven. Hospital Med Bus to visit Scenic Ridge
The Med Bus from Evangelical Hospital will be on site at Scenic Ridge on Wednesday, Sept. 6, (the 1st Wednesday of the month), from 8 a.m. – 12 noon. Scenic Ridge is located at 98 East South Street, Loganton. No appointment needed - Free walk in! Blood pressure, blood glucose, lipid point of care (cholesterol/triglyceride) screenings, as well as bone density heel scans will be done. For blood glucose testing, a 12 hr. fast is recommended. No food or drink except water.
