Summer, 2023
Is flying by so fast.
Days are so beautiful.
O, if they would only last.
Although the sun
Is sometimes hot,
We are thankful
For the A/C we've got.
We occasionally get
A welcomed breeze,
Also some allergies
That always makes us sneeze.
Raindrops are welcomed
To help make things grow.
Gives us nice, green grass
And pretty flowers to show.
The daylight is longer,
That sure is great.
So we can stay outside
Just a while past 8.
Thank you, Lord, for summer.
For the blessings everyday.
And all it brings with it
You send along our way.
