LOCK HAVEN -- Tickets are going fast for Annie Halenbake Ross Library’s Book Sale Preview Night on Tuesday, Sept. 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. on the Ross Library patio.
For $20, guests will enjoy wine and refreshments while shopping at their leisure. It’s an opportunity to have a first pick of the books and other materials before the Wednesday morning crowd descends upon the sale.
“This year’s sale will be the biggest ever. So big, we’ve had to get a tent for overflow! We have over a thousand cases of books and other media for sale," Executive Director Tammy Garrison said. "This year is going to be, as they say, ‘off the hook!'”
The sale contains everything from Amish Romance and history books to records and early literacy kits. It is expected to draw hundreds of people from the area and beyond.
The staff recommend the preview night as a unique experience and the perfect opportunity to shop the best selection of the sale.
The event is limited to 50 tickets, so be sure to get yours soon by calling 570-748-3321 or stopping at the Ross Library front desk at 232 W. Main St. in Lock Haven.
