LOCK HAVEN -- Do you have your Angel Light?
Angel Lights will be lit at dusk in Triangle Park this coming Monday, and it is not too late to sponsor one.
It's been 21 years since the terrorist attacks of 9/11. More than two decades later, many still remember the fear of that day.
Angel Lights is a chance for each one of us to light a candle in the face of that dark memory.
To get your Angel Light, visit The Bus Stops Here, 115 E. Main St., Lock Haven, or come to Triangle Park on Monday after 3 p.m. where they will be available. Each Angel Light is $5 with proceeds going back to the community.
The luminaries are votive candles inside white, weighted bags. You may personalize and decorate your luminary with the name of the person or group you wish to honor or remember. You might choose a favorite teacher, a friend who needs a lift, loved ones who have passed on, veterans or troops... anyone in your heart.
Angel Lights is an annual project of the Rotary Club of Downtown Lock Haven.
