Celebration
Fort Antes Historical Days will be hosting its 31st Annual Celebration on Sept. 14, 15 and 16. A family friendly event, all are invited for pony rides, a bounce house, Shadows of the Old West reenactor encampment, live music, Jeep shows, tractor pulls, cornhole tournaments, fireworks (Friday at 9 p.m.), special guest Ryan "The Bug Man," as well as countless food, craft and flea vendors. Admission to this event is free of charge, parking is $3. Event located at Antes Fort, off of Pa. Route 44.
Literature club

PennDOT reminds motorists of Pennsylvania's law requiring moving vehicles to have headlights turned on when visibility is low due to unfavorable conditions, including fog. When driving in fog, low beam headlights should be used since the high beam setting creates glare and further reduces visibility.
