luncheon
Hammermill "office girls" reunion luncheon will be held on Sept. 28 at 11:30 a.m. at the Dutch Haven Restaurant.
Cricut class
Crystal Hofford is returning to the Sugar Valley Rural Charter School on Saturday, Sept. 30, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. for another tutorial class using your cricut! Bring your cricut and laptop to the school library at 236 E. Main St., Loganton. $60 provides you with all the materials to create your own shadowbox. Fall fest
A fall fest will be held at Milesburg United Methodist Church, 301 Turnpike St., Milesburg, on Oct. 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a kick off with a bicycle parade at 9:45 a.m. going down Church Street. There will be free food, games and crafts for the families attending.
Chicken BBQ
A Chicken BBQ hosted by the Pleasant Gap American Legion -- SAL Squadron will be held on Oct. 14 from 11 a.m. until sold out. Dinner is open to the public at 435 S. Main St., Pleasant Gap, Pa. Dinner includes a half chicken, homemade macaroni salad, baked beans and a roll with butter. Cost is only $10 for this dinner which benefits Veteran and Community Programs. No advanced tickets will be sold, and no call-in orders will be accepted.
