Shoe Bank

The Lock Haven Area Shoe Bank has a new date for October. It will give free, new shoes to eligible kids and teens on Saturday, Oct. 7. The Shoe Bank is inside Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven. The program serves families with Compass from Clinton County or the Liberty-Curtin School attendance area. Appointments are required. Comedy festival

NELL'S BELLS Comedy Festival is happening in Williamsport Oct. 6 and 7! Cartoonist for the New Yorker Magazine and founder of St. Nell's Humor Writing Residency in Williamsport, Emily Flake has assembled an all-star lineup of comedians for two days of hilarity at the Community Theatre League.
