Despite the hot and humid temperatures, the Bucktail community showed up in full force for another Reading Under the Lights event this week. The event, sponsored by Keystone Cares, saw approximately 70 students attend with their families. Kids heard stories from Bucktail athletic students, completed crafts and activities, enjoyed face painting with local businesses along with other activities from clubs and local organizations. Students also were given three chances to win a raffle basket of their choice. The Renovo Elementary PTO also supplied families with pizza and water. "It was a great night! Thanks to all who came out to participate in the event," a release from the Keystone Central School District said. The district's next reading under the lights will be on Sept. 14 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Central Mountain High School.
