LOCK HAVEN -- The Covenant Cafe, an early stage Alzheimer's activity group, will be taking a field trip to the Poorman Gallery of the Clinton County Historical Society on Tuesday, Sept. 19 from 1-3 p.m.
Participants will meet at the Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven to carpool to the Gallery on East Water Street.
The group will have a guided tour of the current exhibit by renowned Lock Haven artist and educator Dr. Edna Bottorf. After viewing the exhibit, the group will have refreshments and a reminiscent session.
The Covenant Cafe is a joint venture between the Outreach and Witness Committee of Covenant United Methodist, the Alzheimer's Support Group and the Alzheimer's Association.
Participants in this group are given an opportunity to be involved in socially and physically stimulating programs which will help them remain as active as possible.
