Greenaway to take part in World Championship Crossbow competition

PHOTO PROVIDED Local crossbow enthusiast Dennis Greenaway will represent USA Crossbow Inc. at the WCSA World Crossbow Championship in India from Oct. 24-Oct. 31.

AVIS -- Dennis Greenaway will be representing USA Crossbow Inc. and the United States at the 10th WCSA World Crossbow Championships in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India, from Oct. 24-Oct. 31.

This competition includes participants from all over the world and features a 2-day Target World Championships, a 1-day head to head Match Play Championship as well as a 2-day Forest Round, featuring shooters roving through the woods shooting at foam animals at unmarked distances.

Greenaway will be competing in the Medieval Crossbow division in multiple events and is going to be the first US representative in the Medieval Division.

He has been shooting crossbows since the early 1990s.

Greenaway is a real estate appraiser and owns Greenaway Certified Appraisals. Previously, he was a Pine Creek Township Supervisor for a total of 42 years.

Dennis is married and has two adult children, Kyra and Ian.
