Climate change talk and lunch set for Sept. 24
HOWARD -- Science's best guess about the effects climate change will have on Centre County in the next 20, 50, 100 years, and what we can do to help. Howard United Methodist Church is hosting a free 20-minute talk, with time for questions afterwards, and includes a light lunch of soup and salad.
Brandi Robinson, associate teaching professor at Penn State, and chair of the implementation and technical advisory group for the Centre Region's Climate Action and Adaption Plan will be the guest speaker during the presentation that will be held on Sunday, Sept. 24, beginning at noon.
Please RSVP before Sunday, Sept. 17, to make sure there is enough interest to hold the event. Email: pastorcraigrose@gmail.com or leave a message at the church office, 814-625-2362.
Please also include any specific questions you might want answered with your RSVP, as Brandi will try to provide some answers.
Howard United Methodist Church, is located at 144 W. Main St., in Howard.
