Hunting coupons available soon
The Lock Haven City Authority still has a few coupons available under the Pennsylvania Game Commission’s Deer Management Assistance Program (DMAP) to allow hunters to obtain an additional deer harvest permit for Lock Haven watershed property. Coupons will be available on a first come first served basis at the Lock Haven Public Works Building, 99 Second Avenue, Lock Haven, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., weekdays, beginning Wednesday, Sept. 20. Hunters are reminded to respect the property, obey all rules and regulations of the Game Commission and report any observed violations.
Historic Homes of Jersey Shore: A Guided Tour
1893-2023
On Sunday, Sept. 24, at 2 p.m., the Jersey Shore Historical Society presents Historic Homes of Jersey Shore: A Guided Tour from 1893-2023. This virtual tour highlights 24 historic homes in Jersey Shore. Learn about the architecture and the lives of the families who occupied the homes.
In anticipation of a large turnout, the program will be held at the Jersey Shore Presbyterian Church, 235 S. Main St., Jersey Shore (the church with the clock tower).
Parking and entrance in the back of the church. Light refreshments will be served.
Bard in the Boro

Not to mention classes for all ages from infants to 99+, master classes, intensives, community arts programs and guest artists. Wild and Woolly
The Wild and Woolly Exhibit is being featured from now until Sept. 24 at the Station Gallery. Wildlife art and fiber-based creations from artists from around the region will be featured in the exhibit. This exhibit is sponsored by the Clinton County Arts Council. The Station Gallery is located at 2 E. Bald Eagle St., Lock Haven, and will have regular hours on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sundays from 1-4 p.m.
