LOCK HAVEN -- The Alzheimer's and Caregivers' Support Group will meet Tuesday, Oct. 10 from 7 to 8 p.m. at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven.
The meeting place has convenient parking next to the church and a handicapped accessible entrance. The October meeting will be a time of sharing concerns about caring for a loved one with a memory loss and to educate caregivers and families through the Alzheimer's Association's materials available for distribution. Suggestions for future meeting topics are always welcome.
The Alzheimer's Support Group is free and allows families time to share common issues and concerns. Sitter service can be provided to the person with dementia at the church while caregivers are attending the meeting. Prior arrangements must be made for this service.
