Meet & Greet
PA CareerLink Clinton County will hold a meet and greet recruitment event on Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Stop by the office, 8 N. Grove St., Lock Haven to meet with employers such as SA Piper Logistics, LLC, Brodart Co. and Wirerope Works, Inc.
Ladies Day Out
Hillview Wesleyan Church, 1200 W. 4th St., Lock Haven, will be holding a free Ladies Day Out on Nov. 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the church's Fellowship Building. This event is a relaxing and refreshing day to get away from the busyness of life and relax with friends, share laughter and stories and spend time with God. Flu Season
It's flu season again -- be prepared! Flu season typically runs from October through March, so now is your best time to be vaccinated. Everyone in your family ages six months and older should be protected each year against the flu. For those over 65, an additional vaccine against pneumonia is also available.
