Ladies Day Out
Hillview Wesleyan Church, 1200 W. 4th St., Lock Haven, will be holding a free Ladies Day Out on Nov. 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the church's Fellowship Building. This event is a relaxing and refreshing day to get away from the busyness of life and relax with friends, share laughter and stories and spend time with God. The event's theme is "Who Ya Gonna Call?" and will include a light lunch and a goodie bag. To register, please email kpoorman@hotmail.com or call 570-769-6765. The deadline to register is Oct. 27.
Fall fest
A fall fest will be held at Milesburg United Methodist Church, 301 Turnpike St., Milesburg, on Oct. 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a kick off with a bicycle parade at 9:45 a.m. going down Church Street. There will be free food, games and crafts for the families attending.
