The Clinton County Arts Council will be hosting its first-ever Night at the Gallery on Friday, Oct. 27, from 7 to 9 p.m., at The Station Gallery, 2 E. Bald Eagle St., Lock Haven. This Halloween inspired opening reception will feature an exhibit of strange and wonderful artworks created with the world of ultraviolet light from the inspirations of local ghost stories and imaginations. Members of the arts council's board encourage the community to show up in their best costume -- with homemade masks and cardboard box invented costumes extremely encouraged. The reception may be dark at times, so attendees should be prepared for a black light adventure. Local historian Lou Bernard, whose ghost themed articles were the inspiration for many exhibitors, will be reading some of his work at 8 p.m. Artists participating include Davi Becker, Todd Rice, Brian Spies, Janet Sherman, Joe Bitner, Lisa Fidler, Jennifer Deitloff and more.
