LOCK HAVEN -- The Clinton County Economic Partnership is encouraging business owners to take part in two workshops related to utilizing Google in its practices.
Two classes will be taught on Monday, Nov. 6, at the Clinton County Piper Building, 2 Piper Way, Lock Haven.
The morning class, which is from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., is titled "Get Your Business on Google Search and Maps."
The class will focus on how to ensure your business shows up when customers are searching online and how to make sure the information they find is the most accurate and up-to-date. The class will teach participants how to create and manage a Google Business Profile from start to finish.
The evening class will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and is titled "Reach Customers Online with Google."
The class will help participants learn how a business can be found online with Google and explain how the search engine works along with how it can improve a business website's visibility with Search Engine Optimization. The session will also introduce products like Google Business Profile, Google Trends, Search Console, Google Ads and more.

These classes are sponsored by the CCEP, Clinton County Visitors Bureau, Pennsylvania Downtown Center, Main Street America and Grow with Google.
Tourism Director Kira Rosamilia encourages local business owners to take at least one of the courses provided.
"Every business owner should take these classes. It's really important to utilize Google as a tool to promote your business," Rosamilia said.
