Halloween is only weeks away and many local businesses, churches and organizations are already getting into the Halloween spirit.

TRUNK OR TREATS
Oct. 15 – Bald Birds Brewing Company, 220 Shaffer Lane, Jersey Shore, from 1-5 p.m.
Oct. 17 – Pine Creek Veterinary Associates, 2161 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven, 5-6:30 p.m.
Oct. 25 – Lock Haven Branch YMCA, from 5:30-7 p.m., behind the Brigandi, Gleghorn and Haffley Insurance office, down from the YMCA.
Oct. 26 – Murray Motors, Lock Haven, 910 Bellefonte Ave., 5-7 p.m.
Oct. 28 – Central PA Street Machines, Millbrook Plaza parking lot, Hogan Blvd., 6 p.m.
Oct. 29 – Valley Hotel's 4th Annual Trunk or Treat, 100 E. Water St., Mill Hall, 2-4 p.m.
Oct. 29 – Wayne Township Nature Park, 191 Linnippi Trail, McElhattan, 4-6 p.m.
Oct. 31 – Woolrich Community United Methodist Church, 1080 Park Ave., 5-7 p.m.

TRICK OR TREAT
Oct. 31 – 6-8 p.m., Avis Borough, Lock Haven, Jersey Shore, Mill Hall, Dunnstable Township, Lamar Township, Pine Creek Township and Woodward Township.
PARADES and PARTIES
Oct. 27 – Woolrich Community Center, 6-8 p.m.
Oct. 28 – Lock Haven Halloween Parade and Party, Main Street, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Lineup on North Henderson St. at 9:30 a.m. Parade will march up East Main Street to Triangle Park where games will be held and prizes awarded. In case of rain, Hope Hose Fire Company will open their station for an indoor party at 10 a.m.
Oct. 29 – Castanea Halloween Parade, 4 p.m. Lineup on Brown Street. The parade will proceed the length of Brown Street to McElhattan Avenue and end at the Castanea Fire Hall.
Oct. 31 – Heritage Park Halloween Party, 530 Erie Ave., Renovo, 4-8 p.m.
OTHER EVENTS
Oct. 25 – Annual Light the Night Event, 6-8 p.m., at Walker Township Park. Nittany Valley Fellowship of Churches hosts this free family event featuring games, treat bags for kids, hot dogs, hot chocolate, cider and more! Kids are invited to dress in costumes, but not scary costumes.
Oct. 28 – Shop or Treat – throughout downtown Lock Haven, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Oct. 31 – Mill Hall Fire Company will be holding their annual Truck-Or-Treat from 6-8 p.m.
