Doughnut Sale
Trinity United Methodist Church will have a fresh, homemade doughnut sale on Thursday, Nov. 16. It is best to preorder yours by calling 570-398-2913 weekdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Leave your name, phone number and your order. Walk-ins will be accommodated beginning at 7 a.m. on sale day. The cost for the doughnuts is $7 per dozen or $3.50 for half dozen. These doughnuts freeze nicely, so stock up because there will not be a sale in December. For pick-ups, use the Glover Street entrance. The church is located at 1407 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore.

Veterans
Please join us to honor all who have served our country on Saturday, Nov. 11, at the Lock Haven Sons of Italy, 1 N. Henderson St., Lock Haven. Admission is $5 and free to our Honored Veterans and Active Duty Military Members. There will be light refreshments, door prizes and music donated by Private Stock Trio. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. For tickets call or text 570-295-9330. All proceeds from this event will be donated to Heroes and Horses who provide Equine Assisted Programs totally free to our Honored Veterans and Active Duty Military.
