Free new boots
Eligible kids and teens can choose a pair of free new boots at the Lock Haven Area Shoe Bank, inside Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St. The first date is a "Just Boots Day" on Saturday, Nov. 11, for families who have been to the Shoe Bank recently and aren't yet eligible for shoes again. All other families will be served Saturday, Nov. 18, when they can get both boots and shoes. Kids and youth up to age 18, or in high school, are eligible if they have Compass and live anywhere in Clinton County or the Liberty-Curtin School area. Appointments are required.
