Santa Jump
The Santa Jump Jamboree will be held on Saturday, Nov. 11, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Vendors will be set up at the Beech Creek Fire Company grounds and at the Friendship Community Center. Food, crafts, kids games and raffles will be offered. At 1 p.m. Santa paraglides onto the ballfield (weather permitting) and then Santa and his helpers will hand out treats and meet with children for photos. Event is held rain, snow or shine! Volunteers are needed to help with games and activities.
Sister to Sister
On Nov. 10 and 11, the ladies at Blanchard Church of Christ will be hosting a Sister to Sister Women's Conference. Sister to Sister is a conference created and led by Julie Nevel, Christian contemporary recording artist. The purpose of this conference is to bring women from all walks of life together in unity to celebrate, to inspire and encourage one another toward our divine destiny and potential in Christ. The cost is $30 for Friday night, 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Friday will include dinner and Saturday will include a brunch!
