Thank you to Veterans
St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 850 Snydertown Road, Howard, is inviting all area veterans and their families to enjoy free coffee and donuts on Friday, Nov. 10, from 9-11 a.m. as a thank you for their service.
Sister to Sister
On Nov. 10 and 11, the ladies at Blanchard Church of Christ will be hosting a Sister to Sister Women's Conference. Sister to Sister is a conference created and led by Julie Nevel, Christian contemporary recording artist. The purpose of this conference is to bring women from all walks of life together in unity to celebrate, to inspire and encourage one another toward our divine destiny and potential in Christ. The cost is $30 for Friday night, 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Friday will include dinner and Saturday will include a brunch!
Herb Guild
The Clinton County Herb Guild will be holding their next meeting on Monday, Nov. 13, at 7 p.m., at Big Woods Bible Church located at 241 S. Hanna St, Lock Haven. Guild members, Judy and Mary Margaret, will be doing a program on herbs for cleaning. Rebecca will talk about winter herbs. Members are reminded to bring an herbal recipe to share. The public is invited to attend.
