Light Up
Castanea!
The Castanea Township Recreation Committee announces Light Up Castanea! Christmas House Decorating Contest with judging planned on Tuesday, Dec. 19, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The committee asks residents to register their homes by emailing John Gradel at jgradel@gmail.com. The winner will receive a Certificate of Appreciation and yard sign. Any residents wishing to feature their decorated homes on the township Facebook page may forward a photo to John Gradel. Please list your names and addresses with the photos. The committee hopes to promote civic pride and engagement with the contest.
Open House
Commonwealth University-Clearfield will host an open house on Saturday, Dec. 2, beginning at 9 a.m. in Founder's Hall. Prospective students are encouraged to attend to learn more about what Clearfield has to offer. During the program, participants will learn about the admissions process, meet individually or in groups with faculty experts, take a tour of campus with current students, enjoy light refreshments and take home some Clearfield goodies.
