SVRCS next Senior Social will be held Friday, Dec. 8. We will open the SVRCS gym lobby, 236 E. Main St, Loganton, from 12:30 p.m. -2 p.m. and invite all senior citizens to join us for snacks and activities prepared just for you! This event is hosted by the Life Skills classes of the SVRCS, and this month's guest presenters will be our 6th grade students who are excited to bring you Candy Cane Olympics! You won't want to miss this! FREE!! No reservations required. In the event of inclement weather, we will operate under the school's calendar. Christmas Tea Party
Boxes of Hope, a local nonprofit, will be hosting a Christmas Tea Party Fundraiser to benefit Boxes of Hope on Sunday, Dec. 10, from 2 – 4 p.m. The event is $30 per person and will be at the Full Circle Center, 146 Fairpoint Road, Mill Hall. You can purchase your tickets at boh4bc.org/tea-party/

chocolate sale
Valerie Wynn, of Sweet Sunrise Bakery, will be selling trays of assorted Christmas cookies and handcrafted chocolates at Calico Creek on Saturday, Dec. 16, and on Saturday, Dec. 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For any questions call 570-725-3074. Proceeds benefit the Mountain Mission School in Grundy, Va.
