Leadership Clinton County learns about health & human service

LOCK HAVEN -- Leadership Clinton County held a meeting in December with a focus on Health and Human Services in Clinton County.
The session started with a discussion led by Ron Reynolds, president of UPMC Lock Haven and Williamsport on the many changes happening with the local facility and healthcare as a whole. The class then participated in a substance abuse panel which included a discussion on the various programs available through the West Branch Drug & Alcohol Abuse Commission and Clinton County Specialty Courts.
Ben Green with the Clinton County United Way shared information on the array of social services provided locally. The day ended with tours of the Clinton County Department of Emergency Services' 9-1-1 Center, where the group was able to see the technology used and the Clinton County Probation Department training facility located below the 9-1-1 Center.
