LOCK HAVEN -- Advance Central PA, the workforce development board serving nine counties, in partnership with Lock Haven Rehabilitation & Senior Living, announces a new student and industry networking opportunity taking place next month at 22 Cree Drive in Lock Haven.
Through the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry's competitive Business Education Partnership grant, Advance Central PA aims to increase student, parent and educator awareness of local businesses and career opportunities in Central PA through deep dive networking events. Dinner and dessert with Lock Haven Rehabilitation & Senior Living allows a small group of high school students, along with their parent or guardian, to connect with local professionals, hear inspiring career success stories, understand existing talent needs and learn about career opportunities and pathways.
Lock Haven Rehabilitation & Senior Living's very own team members who represent a variety of occupations within the facility from Administration, Nursing, Dining Services and Human Resources will provide insightful presentations allowing students and their families to leave the event with an understanding of what it takes to be part of the team along with the diverse career options in the field.
This event will take place on the campus of the Lock Haven Rehabilitation & Senior Living on Wednesday, Feb. 7. Parents and students can register to attend this event at the following link: bit.ly/3viVXqN.
