Alzheimer’s and Caregivers Support Group to meet Jan. 9

LOCK HAVEN -- The Alzheimer's and Caregivers' Support Group will meet Tuesday, Jan. 9, from 7-8 p.m., at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven. The meeting place has convenient parking next to the church and a handicapped accessible entrance.

The group will discuss news from the Alzheimer's Association including prevention tips, early diagnosis information, caregiver tips, research advances in 2023 and what's ahead for 2024.

The Alzheimer's Support Group is free and allows families time to share common issues and concerns. Sitter service can be provided to the person with dementia at the church while caregivers are attending the meeting. Prior arrangements must be made for this service.
