Alzheimer's
and Dementia Program
Penn State Extension will be offering a free program, Understanding Alzheimer's and Dementia, on Feb. 15, from 12:30-1:30 p.m., at the Jersey Shore Center for Healthy Aging, 641 Cemetery St., Jersey Shore. Understanding Alzheimer's and Dementia will explore the relationship between Alzheimer's disease and dementia. Learn what happens in a brain affected by Alzheimer's, learn about risk factors and the three general stages of the disease, and receive other helpful Alzheimer's resources. This program is designed for people who are facing a diagnosis as well as those who wish to be informed.
