Porter Township Breakfasts
Porter Township Farmers Breakfasts will be held the first Saturday of each month. The next breakfast will be on Saturday, March 2, and continuing through April, from 7-10 a.m., at the Porter Township Community Building in Lamar. Menu includes eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, scrapple, hash browns, biscuits and sausage gravy, toast, coffee, tea and hot chocolate.
Holy Moments in History
Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church, 111 Main St., Mill Hall invites the community to Holy Moments in History, a series being conducted by Mike Palischak, a retired history teacher who loves history. The next meeting will be on March 6 at 10 a.m. in the church sanctuary. The March topic will be on Joshua Chamberlain, a little known American Civil War Hero.
If you are a history buff or would like to know how faith in God has helped develop our country, stop by and listen. Mr. Palischak welcomes questions. Everyone is invited to this fascinating program. There is plenty of free parking to the rear of the church.
