Helping Hands will have a “Grand Re-Opening” at 6 p.m. at the United Lutheran Church in Lock Haven, behind KFC. Helping Hands is a non-profit organization which helps families in need. Helping Hands gives such items as laundry care, paper towels, toilet paper, soap, garbage bags, cleaning items, etc.
Lamar United Methodist will be having a free community Soup & Sandwich Lunch on Feb. 21 at noon. This is in memory of Norma Miller and Jerry Lucas. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Give Kids a Smile event at CPI, 540 N. Harrison Road, Pleasant Gap. Dental students and staff at CPI will give Centre County kids ages 0-17 from low income families FREE dental exams, x-rays, cleanings, fluoride treatments, etc. from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Appointments are required and can be made by calling 814-359-2793, ext. 222 or emailing mtobias@cpi.edu.
