SNYDERTOWN -- Housing has become a big issue in Central Pennsylvania and the country as many people struggle to pay mortgages or rents, and some face the challenge of being homeless.
St. Mark Lutheran Church, 850 Snydertown Road, Howard, is holding an online Housing Summit at 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 26.
Leaders from organizations in the region that are helping people and addressing the issue will gather to talk about resources that are available for people and how people can help those who are in need.
The summit will be shown on Facebook Live on St. Mark's Facebook page, (@StMarkSnydertown) and on Zoom (for Zoom information, email stmarksnydertown@gmail.com).
The summit event features Tirzah Gibboney from Bridge of Hope Centre County, Keshia Conway from Clinton County Housing Coalition, Morgan Wasikonis from Housing Transitions, and Jordan Taylor from Out of the Cold Centre County.
