Covenant Cafe to meet March 5

LOCK HAVEN -- The Covenant Cafe, an early stage Alzheimer's activity group, will meet on Tuesday, March 5 from 1-3 p.m. at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven. The group will be making a spring flower craft under the direction of volunteer Kitty Oechler.

A Saint Patrick's Day Sing Along will be led by volunteer Pam Blesh followed by a seated dance version of an Irish jig. The session will end with a game of corn hole and refreshments.

The Covenant Cafe is a joint venture between the Nurturing, Outreach and Worship Committee of Covenant United Methodist, the Alzheimer's Support Group and the Alzheimer's Association. Participants in this group are given an opportunity to be involved in socially and physically stimulating programs which will help them remain as active as possible.
