Med Bus
The Med Bus from Evangelical Hospital will offer free dental screenings on Wednesday, April 3 at Scenic Ridge, 98 E. South St., Loganton, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. No appointment is needed. The screening includes blood pressure readings, blood glucose, lipid point of care (cholesterol/triglyceride) screenings as well as bone density heel scans. For blood glucose testing, a 12 hour fast is recommended.

Penn Tech Dental Hygiene students will offer free dental screenings on Wednesday, April 3, from 8 to 11 a.m. at Scenic Ridge, 98 E. South St., Loganton. No appointment is needed. Fluoride varnish is available.
Holy Moments in History
Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church, 111 Main St., Mill Hall invites the community to Holy Moments in History, a series being conducted by Mike Palischak, a retired history teacher who loves history. The next meeting will be on April 3 at 10 a.m. in the church sanctuary. The April topic will be famous women -- Sarah Hale, Harriet Becher Stowe, Clare Barton and Dorothea Dix. If you are a history buff or would like to know how faith in God has helped develop our country, stop by and listen. Mr. Palischak welcomes questions. Everyone is invited to this fascinating program. There is plenty of free parking to the rear of the church.
