LOCK HAVEN -- On Thursday nights in May, the public is invited to learn Mah-Jongg, a fun and relaxing game. The Mah-Jongg Mentors will be teaching classes at the library at 6 p.m. on May 2, 9, 16 and 23. Novices to the game are welcome to come and learn.

Come see the Ross Library's little-known museum room, the Sloan Museum! Tours and talks on artist John Sloan will be given every two hours on May 18 to celebrate International Museum Day. The small tours will be held at 10 a.m., 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Do you need more money? Of course you do. Who doesn't? On May 30 at 6 p.m., business professional Angad Lamba will teach you how to get the most out of your raise negotiations with the program "How To Negotiate A Raise."

Movies are shown at the Ross Library every month. On the third Thursday of each month at 6 p.m., the library shows a different movie. The movies will be shown on the third floor of the library, with popcorn available. On May 16, the movie will be "Batman," and on June 20, it will be "Raiders of the Lost Ark."

On the second Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m., join the Ross Library for Adult Storytime. Each month, a volunteer will read a different short story to adults eighteen and up. Snacks will be provided. The next session will be on May 14.

"Saturday Crafternoons" is a crafting program ordinarily held on the last Saturday of each month. Each session begins at 12:30 p.m. with a simple craft. On May 25, participants will make cocktail umbrella centerpieces, and on June 29, they will make survival bracelets.
